Payroll
Dominican payroll, without spreadsheets.
TSS, income tax, Christmas bonus and seniority-based vacation, computed under Dominican law and configurable when the rates change.
Computed under Dominican law
Every concept carries its legal basis, and the rates are configurable from within the system for when TSS or DGII update them.
- TSS - Law 87-01
- Family Health Insurance and pension fund contributions, employee and employer shares, plus occupational risk.
- Income tax - DGII table
- Progressive brackets with the personal deduction, withheld month by month.
- Christmas bonus - Law 16-92
- The thirteenth salary, one twelfth of annual pay, computed and paid as required.
- Vacation - Article 177
- Days by seniority under the Labour Code: 14 days from 1 to 4 years, 18 from 5 to 9, and 20 from 10 onward. Under one year, not eligible.
- Overtime - Article 203
- Daytime, night and rest-day or holiday premiums, plus the seventh consecutive day.
- Dominican public holidays
- The twelve national holidays, flagged as double pay.
What it does
Payroll runs with approval
A run is created, calculated, approved and paid. Once approved it locks, so nobody edits it behind your back.
Payslip PDF and email delivery
Each employee payslip is generated and emailed, with a record of what went out and when.
Employee self-service
Employees sign in and download their own payslips without asking anyone.
Time off: request, approval and balance
Leave types, balances, requests and an approval flow.
Dependants and additional health cover
Dependants recorded with their age configuration and the additional deduction where it applies.
Compensation by position
Base or hourly pay defined per position and applied in bulk to the employees in it.
Salary history import
Bring history over from your previous system with a preview before confirming, so you do not start from zero.
Employee record
Details, job data, documents with expiry alerts and an activity timeline.
Audit trail
Who changed what on runs, concepts, rates and holidays is recorded.
Configurable, not hard-coded
TSS rates, income tax brackets, holidays, pay periods and the catalogue of earnings and deductions are all managed from the system. When the law changes, you do not have to wait for a new release.
Does your payroll have its own rules?
Almost every payroll does: a particular bonus, an agreed deduction, a different way of prorating. Those rules are exactly what an off-the-shelf system will not let you model, and exactly what we do build.
Shall we talk about your process?
Tell us how you work today and we will tell you frankly whether we can help.
